TBC realm and ways to keep players interest

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to the community and I have to say I'm having a great time on Nostalrius.

One thing I do wish for the server admins to do is to make a TBC realm in the future (say after a year or two) with free character transfers (automated systems aren't that hard to implement) from the Vanilla realm to the new TBC realm. This would supply players with a fresh flow of content and allow new communities, who enjoy TBC more, to enjoy Nostalrius. I certainly love TBC and I know many other players do too. A new expac to be exited for would create that awesome blizzlike experience that many players strive for.

Also, it would be great for admins to create small events like fishing competitions, a small mob camp placed temporarily in Azeroth, or world PVP sites for example, that would keep a fresh and exciting experience for a long time.

What do you guys think about this? Would you like to see things similar to this, or do you hate my ideas? Please explain.

I would be down for that after this server reaches full progression.

Greetings everyone!

The plan is to add a seperate TBC realm which you can choose to move your character to. This will delete it from the vanila realm, which should continue to run independently.

This is after all vanilla content is cleared(KT killed by multiple guilds) correct?

Can anyone please explain to me why on earth you wouldn't be allowed to copy it?

simply because on retail you obviously switched in automatic to tbc, and here it's to retain the same blizzlike feeling but you will still be able to play on the vanilla server too by creating a new character or using your alts who you haven't transferred to the tbc one yet.

I dunno, why delete your char from the vanilla realm? What if you want to go back to vanilla? Sounds kinda meh to me.
