Difficulty & Diversity, but please, no passion.

I understand what you all are doing. You're trying to recreate vanilla, and make it exactly the way it was during retail days.

Please be honest about this. Why have a Suggestion forum while you all know exactly the way it's going to be? Then really all you need is a Support forum for when people find that the game is not in line with what it used to be. Please make it more clear on your website. Maybe post something like:

"Relive the Vanilla days on Nostalrius - The 100% Blizzlike Server - Exactly the way it was on retail".

Put it where everyone can see. Then people would know what they're getting themselves into, and wouldn't be misled.

Cheers

It wasn't until reading a few other posts, that I realized none of the suggestions were being seriously considered. Would have been better to know this before hand...

Also, it would be cool to see who the person posting is, whether they are a player, developer or just an onlooker. People talk as if they have authority, and you don't know whether they do or not, would be cool to know. Like that other person said, it can get kinda confusing when everyone is a "tester".

Thanks

Testers are all players. Is it that hard to figure it out? You'll know when a GM/Admin responds. It's so obvious.

It seems like all you do is complain. Do you even play on this server? I tried so hard to just ignore responding because it would play right into you evoking a response.

Well done, troll. You got me.

See the color of names? Below is the code of the legend at the bottom of the board index.

Legend: Administrators=LinkDeveloppers=linkGame Masters=linkIsVV=linkStaff members=link

Now please troll, stop.

Actually it was kinda hard for me to undertand, until I saw the legend posted. People were posting replies that were sounding as if they were the authority, as if they knew exactly how the game was being developed, and what choices the developers were going to make.

What I'm doing is actually throwing up suggestions, and pointing out the obsurdity of what some people are saying. You're the one complaining, trying to shut me down, and put me into your norm. You're the one being a troll. All we all is a collection of our complaints and our solutions to those problems. Why is it so strange to you that my words sound like complaining? You're doing the same thing as me. This is the suggestion forum, isn't it?

There is no reason to get hostile and try and cut me down. If you don't understand what I'm saying, then it would probably be better if you just shut up and listen, or just gtfo as you say, because this candle is never going out.

Have you read the official announcements? They tell you in black and white. Doing a simple forum search will find most, if not all, answers you need. Some people don't search this, so others have taken their time to explain things to help others. Written text can be translated in different light. Trust me, the community here is awesome as we have some forum goers who help the staff by answering the same questions and problems for them. This helps keep the staff on answering tickets, bans, coding to fix bugs, etc. Would you like them to not help and put more stressors on the staff?

Sounds more like complaining to me...

I complained? All I did was inform you of something every forum has had since the dawn of Bulletin Board php coding. Then called you out on talking to yourself for four posts. You know you can edit a post instead of keeping on typing new ones right?

rcoop wrote:All we all is a collection of our complaints and our solutions to those problems. Why is it so strange to you that my words sound like complaining? You're doing the same thing as me. This is the suggestion forum, isn't it?

I haven't made a suggestion in the forum as the forum is neatly coded and the game is near vanilla as they can get it so far, with the minor bugs. I am 75% sure the suggestion forum is more to make the game closer to blizzlike and not deter from it and also suggestions for the forum in general. Remember, English isn't their native language.

I never got hostile. I actually said please! Look at you being Billy Badass over here. Now I hope you understand me, as I already have understood you. Look at your first post and tell me that is a suggestion to begin with. I actually was half temped to report this as OT until you started explaining an opinion a few minutes later. Keep burning that candle and pretty soon, you will run out of wick and wax xD
