Q&A From the STAFF

Nostalrius staff,
Could we get a simple, easy and needed Q and A topic to clear things out ?
With the amount of unclear stuff in rules it feels like playing in some weird RP server.
Just few examples - Policy about warnings, alts, "spies", horde/ally at same time to chat, levelling alts while in bg queue and so on. The answers from GM's in game often says different things.
Is there a possibility of a healthy conversation between staff and players?

Generally:
Don't do anything you couldn't do on retail with your one account. The exception being you can have your bank alts logged at the same time as your main.
"leveling alts while in bg queue"--could you have done that on your single retail account? no. don't do it.
"spies"--commented on in the multibox thread: don't do it (or risk bans).
"horde/ally at same time"--shouldn't be allowed, although I'd have no idea how you'd get caught.

Common sense? Don't cheat, break rules, or do anything that wasn't allowed in the retail. Read the TOS.

Ok, so am I NOT allowed to have a character on each faction (Alliance and Horde)? Because... I'm able to create both without even having multiple accounts, so should I NOT be doing this? The reason being is that I'm still not sure which way I want to go. Alliance is what I used to be, and I loved Alliance quests (Elwyn Forest, Westfall, Deadmines), but at the same time, I figured I never gave Horde a shot, so maybe I should roll Horde and experience THAT side of the story for once.
Point I'm getting to is that I currently have 2 characters because I'm undecided.

Yes you can have 1 horde and 1 alliance character.
What is not clear about that?
You login to 1 toon and play, when you are done you logout and log to the other toon and play.
