I understand that you want to wait until wednesday to tell us what you have in mind
But...
IF the release will actually be on wednesday (which I doubt), please announce it early and make it happen in the evening so everybody will be home from work etc. Also please provide client downloads for the server.

I'm just posting this because personally I won't have any free time from now until wednesday afternoon (which kinda fits), so I'm a little scared to miss the launch

i think a release date announcement isn't a reasonable request yet

they still need to protect their system from the hackers who crashed the server and performed various exploits during the last session

do you want to see duped arcanite bars and sulfuron ignots and server wipes to repair the damage dealt by them that is extremely difficult to completely 100% reverse?
neither do I, so its better to wait, even if we release after Kronos

trust me it'll damage out reputation worse in the long run if we release before kronos then get stuff duped and have the economy go to crap and have speedhackers and stuff than if we release later and have no hackers
if we release with a flawed anti-cheat detection system we WILL get exploits/dupes/speedhacks and etc out the wazoo on this server

you can never, ever rely on hackers to not hack a server out of respect or anything of the like, ever
some of them would do it just because they dont get caught doing it

tl;dr if we release first and have hacks and exploits abound it'll be worse in the long run than if we release in our current state on wednesday, and at the very least we need another hack session that lasts for at least 2 consecutive days

and besides kronos isn't gonna come out for at least a year at the rate they're going; they can't even give an ETA for the release date, they said so themselves

so much tension in here 8D

They'll release when it's ready.

Well, I would be very suprised if it wouldnt be released on wednesday, since the LAST two testing sessions happened within days. For me it seems like that the staff is already prepared and is pushing it to the release on 11.02.

I belive they will tell us the server is going open beta to test quests!
