Both factions on one account?

Hey Guys,

I wonder if it would be an bad idea if Nostalrius would make it possible to create characters of both factions on one account.
I dont know how many accounts are allowed for each person,but if Nostalrius Stuff allow us to have multiple game accounts it would not be a real difference.

If we are allowed to have only one game account I take it all back because it would not be blizzlike at all.

That wouldn't be Blizzlike at all. Atleast not for 1.12.1 patch. So I'd say no. But as for having multiple accounts, well, I'm guessing it will be possible.

It won't change anything if it won't be allowed or if it will. People can create endless amount of accounts for free anyway. There's going to be people logged on a lvl 1 of the opposite faction using /who <zone/player> to look for people to gank on their other faction account.
And there's going to be tons of accounts with 10 bankers. And tons of accounts with opposite faction spies and trolls, etc, etc.

Banning dual factions on one account won't change anything. Even if it was allowed, it would be more hassle to log off, log in, log off again, and log in again, between 2 characters, rather than just have 2 WoW windows running and one of them being idle on the other account so you can play both at the same time with no interruption or logging or downtime.

From the FAQ:

Definition of multi-boxing : Multiboxing is a term used mostly in MMORPGs to refer to playing as multiple separate characters simultaneously, with or without additional programs.
Multi-boxing and bots are forbidden on our server, as it can impact others players moods and the global economy."

Wouldn't being online with your main and with your spy account at the same time count as multiboxing? You'd have to log out first^^
I would like that because I find the trolls and spies from the other faction quite annoying. But I think it's not possible to watch over every player if he's online with two accounts or not.

Logging onto your bank alt is not multiboxing... Multiboxing is generally when using a 3rd party program so one keystroke controls multiple characters. but the "without programs" confuses me greatly.

I highly doubt they'll be banning me for having 2 WoWs running. I am ALWAYS logged onto my bank account which just has 10 bankers that all hoard different item types for my main characters and guild.

Maybe they could make 12 hours cooldown for logging-in from same ip adress.

NO. If people wanna spy with lvl 1s then they should have to make two accounts and have the hassle of logging in and out. When you have to pay for the game that's how it is. We are lucky this is free!

That doesn't make sense. It's way easier to spy with 2 accounts than with one. The vast majority of computers nowadays can run 2 clients at the same time.
