I'd really like to see an interface forum category to provide virus-free and working addons.

What do you think?

PS offtopic, but additionally we need a BIG RED SHINY button leading to "how to..." for newcommers on the frontpage. Also, Tickets/Help and Guides sections could be helpful.

Yep.

There should be a lot more forum sections, and download links and installation guides available directly from the website rather than on the forums. An Addon database, FAQs, and other thing like a window with the lasts staff announcements on the website would be nice too.

It's actually been a while since the requests / suggestions for features like these were made, and it doesn't seem to bother the staff, who just added 1-2 forum sections recently. I don't really know why, maybe they plan to release a new website / forum or re-organize them for the launch date ?

I hope it´s because they are busy with polish and final touches to low lvl content. Or maybe I am too optimistic?

No I think you are right actually. This is what happens when all is done by the same people with no external help...

I'm pretty sure its in their firing line along with a lot of other things on the forum people ask for i.e class forums.
