I also love being spoonfed everything in all zones, where all the quests are in logical, easy orders, there are no elite mobs, and each zone gives you at least enough levels to progress to the next zone with no hiccups at all.

And I love being able to grind Heroics, which I can do at fresh level cap, to get enough gear to step into the latest raid tier.

I just want to make one thing clear

If you're for a LFG matchmaking system in an mmo in order to alleviate the need to socialize with like minded players whom share the same goal as you and are playing the same game as you..

You need to gtfo and play single player games.

It does not take an hour to form a group if you're active in this community. The population is enormous, guilds are very actively looking to recruit you, and if you have an ounce of a personality your friends list should reflect a few players online every time you check it. If you're too much of a social dumb fuck to put the pieces together and form groups for content then mmos are not for you.

This isn't an elitist quality I'm pushing on others. This is an aspect introduced to the genre that absolutely decimated a standard MMOs are all about. You should always be interested in working with other players or helping each other. Soloing is great and nice to just be on your own sometimes, but once you bite off more than you can chew, run into a few of the opposing faction, or need help figuring something out- the magic of MMOs is revealed.

The irony of the comments in this thread is unbelievable.

Hey wanna play this mmo that requires 0 interaction with other players, in addition to that, you teleport to the content and it's been nerfed so much that if you wanted to you could tank wearing cloth and the warrior can be healer.

Questing? Oh yeah. I love brain dead activity. Why should I have to read, problem solve, or ask for help in an mmo? Being able to solo everything as well as pull 8 quest mobs at once and aoe them down as a rogue while losing 10% health is what I call fun.

Boy, I hate all the diversity vanilla offers too. It's like every class has strengths, weaknesses, and does some things better or worse than others. If I'm playing a Rogue why shouldn't I be able to heal? Yeah I do tons of damage and have some crazy cc but I need to be 100% the same as every other class which means I NEED heals. With that being said, diversity is garbage- I need every class to do the same exact things, it's only fun when there stands absolutely no difference between me and the other 7 classes.

Retail has the right idea. I log in, I can't die, and all the content requires me to do is click accept before I'm teleported there and given a trophy. So much fun

I want to tank wearing cloth now on my level 20 trial warrior.

I like how they list "lack of content" right after official wow releases a "content" patch with a whole new zone that contains under 10 quests. 5 of which being daily quests.

I feel like i really am missing out on all the fun of Official wow.......... NOT

"If you wanted to get any PvP gear at all, you had to grind hardcore for hours on end, weeks at a time. You could be horrible at PvP, but if you had no life, and played 16 hours a day, you'd get GM/HW, just by sheer honor income. This meant that many top-geared players, actually sucked at PvP. "

Apparently "gold-capping" is some sort of common thing now? (Title says "I gold capped for the first time today")
