50-60 What's the fastest way?

Greetings guys,

next week I finally have a couple days off work and a friend and me want to reach level 60 then. Currently we are almost level 50.
So I'd liketo hear some tips how you would do that.
He is a mage and I'm a fury warrior.
Is it worth to grind? Is it worth to go dungeons?
Please help me... it's the last week of the year for me playing the game without doing other stuff.

eastern plaguelands
burning steppes + do all chain quests to BRD and do BRD
western plaguelands
winterspring

the addon "vanilla guide" is really usefull also, you should have try it
