Server is on 1.5. Otherwise, if we were going by that, we'd already have itemization/gear like Savage Gladiator's Chest/WSG/AB rewards, but we don't.

So the argument for suggesting something should stay the way it is simply because it's Blizzlike seems even more pointless if we can't agree on what should/shouldn't change. Like the new queue system for example, there's plenty of problems with it inherently, but some people seem to think yelling "IT'S NOT BLIZZLIKE" is somehow a compelling argument.

I didn't say everyone thought that way, but there's definitely those that do, so I'm glad we can agree the queue system would be a much better alternative then the shit we have now. That being said, nice Rank flame from someone who's in a premade that spent most of his time s-keying in Arathi Basin.

also patch 1.9:

When a player leaves a battleground before it concludes, they will be unable to re-enter any battleground queue for 15 minutes.

is this implemented? does this work after you've swapped from one to another BG?


patch 1.8.4:

Battles must now last at least ten minutes after the start of the battle in order for the losing team to receive a Mark of Honor.

even tho this are later patches, this could and should be implemented now.

PvP Honor System

so, nost launched with the honor system straight in, right? so everyone has much more time to exploit the old pvp-mechanics here from patch 1.0 (release) till patch 1.9, than on vanilla retail from patch 1.4 till 1.9.

so bringing these fixes earlier makes sense. or you pause the honor system for 4 patches so its all "synced" again



and regarding the changed queue system: it might be better than before, but why do the devs not take advantage of blizzlike vanilla mechanics first like named above (single queue, deserter when swapping BGs, marks only if BG lasted >=10 minutes)? and consider to make custom stuff later...?

changing this would require editing the client which in itself is already at 1.12. we would have to re download a whole new client just to change this so deal with it

Server is on patch 1.5. Client is on 1.12.1. Just look at your login screen.
