If you want to communicate with them you might as well learn chinese, you can't really expect people to know english just because most eu/us speaks it. Bad players is individual case, even though I'm not chinese I can name you a couple that are not bad players at all and actually are really nice guys. So stop the hate and form the premade for bgs, that will hopefuly ease your pain.

Chinese people have the same opportunity to learn English as any other country in lets say Europe.
They study it in middle school up to university levels.
So yeah, you can expect them to be better at it.

Using on public chans a different language than English is strictly forbidden. Nostalrius chose english as its only language to avoid the problems we are talking about in this thread.

This need to be enforced though. I see cyrillic text (usually from Russian players) in barrens chat and other general chat channels all the time.

How do I install Chinese characters?
I do speak decent Chinese, but my WoW client wouldn't display characters. That's in spite of the fact that I have Chinese characters installed on my computer and can type them in most other softwares.

My Chinese used to be conversational but has deteriorated. Do need to get back into study mode them find a teacher again on Skype. What are the Alliance Guild names that have a Chinese presence?

Now I know that you have to have Chinese fonts installed in WOW client, need to see if I can install without installing a Chinese client. I can no longer read pinyin because I stopped using pinyin as quickly as possible to study hanzi. Too much information is missing from pinyin (tones) and my memory functions better with hanzi. Also, if you don't recognise the character, the radicals usually give you some clue.
