Are All Mob Patrols Working On Nostalrius?

I understand that during its early beta, Nostalrius was instant 60, so there wasn't much attention paid to these things.

I find it to be a very important part of immersion to have all of the patrols working correctly. Some things like Kodos can patrol massive and random distances, and some patrols can randomly start sprinting like the centaur hunters.

Some simply walk around their camp, while others might just walk in their huts and walk out repeatedly.

Are these all actually fixed? It would require an enormous amount of research.

In my opinion this doesn't get more important than Elite patrols. Something just doesn't feel right when other servers have Devilsaurs and certain faction Patrollers just standing there waiting.

If I recall correctly we only got one chance to test all of the content (quests, mob spawns, mob patrols, etc), and it was on the last test when it had like maybe 2 hours left.
I don't know about mob patrols but there was a thread saying that some of the more complicated quests didn't work correctly, let's hope all of that is fixed come release or nos might take a pr hit.

Kodo patrols in Mulgore and Barrens, as well as Gazelle packs, were fixed during beta. Most of patrols, inside and outside dungeons, were working (i'm talking about kodos and gazelles cause they usually aren't scripted on vanilla servers). I don't know if the rest of it will be scripted at release.

There's a difference regarding pathing.
There are creatures strolling around in a certain area, like almost all npc's doing. Usually this works fine, because it's part of the mobAI.
Furthermore there are the paths you're talking about.
Most of them need polishment because they are not fixed in the core from beginning.
In the end it's important that essential mobs work fine. For example the Elites in Arathi Basin.
I really think this was in focus by the devs, we'll see.
For sure there will be some paths that will not work properly, but does it break the feeling? No.

Just remember to report all the bugs you will see and we're fine. Dont expect unrealistic thinks, the devs are also human beings with a job.

No question, rhe the server will be the best we ever experienced.

See a bug or an NPC not following a path? Even if it's a small thing, report it. We want to make the server the best there ever was. (ash ketchum)
