I want to play the PvE server should it come out and i agree deciding a class is almost as difficult and picking a name, and picking professions!

Don't get me wrong the PvP is good because its there but i prefer a more laid back leveling experience, or at least an on par one where you aren't out-leveled and out-geared. (competing with lv 60's well established alts)

Same here,

I missed the test on Sunday. Would have been great fun to take part in it.

My choice of class I think is going to be a Hunter (its my choice of class on the PvP server) and I'm thinking Dwarf because I like the starting zone.

My main is also a Dorf Hunter on the PvP server, (i have an alt problem and a PvP server really tests my fortitude), That aside, i also like Druids, i've played Kitty Druid through many many xpacs on retail.

But i know where that class ends up and i cant help but wonder if maybe i could expand my playing ability to a different class, maybe my experiences with it would be different.

I dislike roles such as tanking or healing because you have to put a ton of effort into them and you are normally the first person with a loaded gun to your head so to speak should a wipe occur.

DPS is an easier role to play by far but they are also fairly boring, most classes just arent engaging enough you know? Mages for example pretty much one button wonder, Warlocks dont really get to use their full list of skills because of the Debuff cap so that takes a slightly engaging combat style and dumbs it down to two maybe three buttons. The hybrid classes they get the worst end of the stick, engaging but play a ret pally or a feral druid and prepare for the hate to ensue.

In the end that leaves classes like Rogue, which from my experience there was never any end to that class at any point in time in the game, in other words its very common place to play a rogue(so many mediocre and slightly harder to find the really good ones), other classes like hunter, which admittedly is very fun but leveling an under-leveled pet is a huge draw back, along with feeding it costing a fair amount and there is the age old buying of ammo/arrows to maintain DPS, ON the bright side there is the ability to greatly farm things with relative ease, barring your pet isn't a scrub lord and on your level.

The con being pet AI is broke and even on passive they can attack stuff if you get close enough, can be very annoying in a group because instantly you are an idiot that isn't deserving of air to breathe. On top of without serious micro-managing your scrub lord pet will never live past 20% of a raid bosses health.

Why would you play on a PvE server and start over... just cause you're too scared to fight other players? ITS PART OF THE GAME

Gnomosta, go back to your pvp realm and jump lowbies in STV before you start pitching a fit.
