Loot Bug on Group Kick

I was grouped in WPL today as there were Allys, I tagged a mob whilst my other 2 party members were farming on the other side of one of the fields. They kicked me from group as I was mid kill and I was unable to loot my quest item.

Surely your group loot rules should still apply to party members at the time of tagging the mob?

The mob is tagged to the group. That's why if someone starts killing a mob and then invites you to their group mid-fight, you get to loot it when it dies. The reverse applies in your situation.

I cannot recall if that is how it worked on retail servers, but that is what happens on Nostalrius.

So if I'm running a raid pug and boot everyone just before Rag dies I'll get the loot to myself? Seems a bit broken to be honest

I believe raids are different, and regardless if you run a raid without using ML anyway you're dumb.
