About the new realm launch

My question may be stupid but i should ask - when the new pve server is released wont it kill the current servers population. I will be missing zepellins full of people and adventures everywhere. More than 2000 people are just too damn high. I am not complaining jsut asking

Kill? No. I highly doubt it. It will lower it slightly I'm sure though. But with the current population at peak times, that's a good thing.

A lot of people that will ay on the pve server will be people that haven't played on Nost because it's a pvp server, or that have quit playing because of the nonstop ganking. So I doubt it will impact the pop on pvp significantly.

No. They pointed out that when they tested the PvE server, most of the players were new or old players that had quit. So I think the PvE server's impact on the current server will be minimal.

You never know. The people on the pvp server could be so insanely jealous of all the fun that the special, super cool, pve people are having on the new server and won't be able to resist.

According to the stress-test they did previously, the majority of people on that test were people whom had no activity from the live PvP server. It will surely take some people from the current live PvP server but doubt it will be alot.

It will not kill pvp server (for sure not immediately).

But new players might choose PvE server over PvP server, lowering PvP server population over time.

I feel like the only population that will be lost are those who level in Barrens or alli starting zones until it's time to go contested zones then reroll cuz they're afraid of ganking

The server will not killl the PVP server( it has like 20k people playing daily )..

and as said above its mostly new people and old people that quit months ago that is going for the PVE server(just like me i quit the PVP server 3 months ago after hitting 60).. (some might quit the pve server anyways when it comes out)

It will probly have queues for couple days then slow down and then go back up in queue when holidays come around again or new content(or when people start raiding MC)
