How does this server even exist?

I think it's cool they dont use donor points or stuff like that. Would be cool if there was a chance to donate without getting stuff in-game. Giving gold and items for donating would pretty much ruin the fun.

I don't know how they do it, my guess would be they are rich somehow in some unrelated way and they just want to do a good deed to true WoW enthusiasts.

What I've heard is that they're working professionals and this is just a major hobby of theres. This conclusion has been brought up a couple times over the 6 months I've been here and seems the most plausible.

A couple hundred dollars a month split between a few people is not alot of money.

Nost probably runs on a 1 - 1.5 Gbps line and additional storage has never been expensive.
