AV / PvP Mount

Hey lads, Ive been hearing some noise about av/pvp mounts lately !
Is it true that you can buy and use these mounts without having the epic riding skill?
If thats true, is this something that is being removed in a future patch (Read; should I get off my ass and start grindig rep asap) And whats the price of these mounts ?

Tried searching the forum, but couldent find the answers I need !

You can use the R11 mounts without epic riding. Every other epic mount requires it to use, but you can purchase them regardless of your skill.

It will remain this way forever.

I know for a fact that you can use the Rep mount from Winterspring without epic riding aswell ! But that dont apply to horde, obviously.
