Leatherworking Is Killing My Soul

by Atarituesday » Tue Sep 22, 2015 1:06 pm

Hi,

So I cannot manage to find Journeyman Leatherworking. I have tried the both low level trainer between Dolanaar and Darnassus, and the trainer within Darnassus as well. The trainer outside of Dolanaar gives me no results for ANY training besides what I already have, nothing for unavailable or available. The trainer in Darnassus only gives me unavailable options for Expert and above.

Is this a problem anyone else has had? What should I do? This is a really frustrating problem that has been going on for about two weeks since I discovered it and nothing has changed or helped it. I'd really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

There are 3 leatherworkers in Darnassus next to each other, you talk to all of them because they all do different ranges

I did try all the trainers- I do have a brain- and none of them offered Journeyman Leatherworking. I have also gone to Ironforge only to find that the same bug (which has afflicted many others) in regards to the trainer there affected me as well, and with no time to take the tram to Stormwind that evening if I wanted to get any leveling done, I headed back to Teldrassil and ignored my leatherworking for a few days. FINALLY I was able to get Journeyman Leatherworking from the trainer in Astranaar.

So, if anyone else has this issue while leveling in Kalimdor, I advise you to head over to Astranaar or check Stormwind. Don't waste your time running all over Teldrassil and Darnassus, deleting folders, and trying desperately to find a working, non-bugged trainer there. Don't waste your money with the stupid, gold-destroying gnome in Ironforge. Just go to Stormwind or Astranaar, or somewhere else, and don't bother with the bugs. I hope this post can help someone else and keep them from wasting any time :)

The next level of leatherworking would be at the Wildhammer Keep in the Hinterlands, literally a two second google search would of shown you this.

You can't learn professions straight to 300 once you hit level 5.

I can't remember the exact level requirements, you need something like level 40 or 45 to learn anything above 225. No idea what the level requirement is for learning above 150 and 75. After ignoring it and leveling for a few days it magically showed up because you were high enough level to learn it.

1. To Draenin and their rude reply: Journeyman Leatherworking is supposed to be available in all the capital cities and some secondary cities(towns). There would've been NO need for me to go there to get Journeyman. Also, I think you are referring to the wrong level of Leatherworking, so how about you read my post a little better the first time- Especially before replying in such a dick-ish fashion.

2. To Armilius the Captain of all that is Obvious: I KNOW YOU CANT GO STRAIGHT TO 300 AT LEVEL 5. CHRIST. You only need to be level ten and above I believe to receive Journeyman Leatherworking. I was about level 19 or 20 when I posted this. WELL past the requirements.

Sorry, it's the only way I could think someone could fuck up. It's kind of amazing actually that you couldn't figure it out so I thought I'd give some advice on the ONLY THING I could see someone fucking up trying to train leatherworking.
But bravo, you did it. You out-did my expectations of being a shitter, gold star.
