I did a quick search, didn't really find anything, sorry if this topic has been made before.
I'm just curious as to how widespread this problem is, I was leveling all last night on the PvE realm and barely saw anyone chatting. Everytime I tried to chat, it wasn't working. Is there a reason for this? Is this something that's priority to fix considering how communication is so key to the success of so many quests, as in.. managing to even get in a group in the first place? I'd have to say not having chat is probably the only thing I've experienced so far that's really been putting me off the game, hard to progress when you can't even get a party together.
