warlock is the right answer. but it really depends on the player. if we were in a 100% perfect world where everything was perfect. warlock. but mages are still very very good.

if you had a mage and lock doing everything they could do and be the best with perfect reaction times to everything and they were the most optimal races then the mage would win in pvp

mage so you can turn any 1v2 into a 1v0

polymorph one guy, one shot other guy with 2.5k frostbolt crits and instant casts if he is still alive then kill the polymorph

oh yeah if he some how manages to surive just counterspell and he cant heal for 8 seconds. if you some how miss he still silenced for 4 second
