Vanilla Iron Man Challenge

Hello, i was wondering has anyone ever attempted to complete the Iron Man challenge in Vanilla and do you think it is possible? I know it will be hard to track since there is no way to see how many deaths a player has in the vanilla client but i think it would be really challenging and interesting.

For those who dont know what the iron man challenge is, its pretty much getting to max level with white or gray gear, without spec, without ever grouping with other people, without any kind of performance boosts like enchants and pots and most importantly without dying once!
