Is anyone in North America having success with logging in that is not using a VPN set up in France or Sweden?

Nope. I am pleased to report, though, that I have upgraded from:

"Connecting" -----> "Unable to connect"

To

"Connecting" ------> "Disconnected from server"

That's all I've seen so far.

The server is fine, the login server isn't. The server isn't lagging, so it isn't under any load. They're saying that they'll fix it.
