Beware of guild [A]Machine

by swertie1 » Fri Dec 11, 2015 5:01 am

Posting here because Nost staff doesn't really do shit with this kind of stuff.

The other day I ran a half guild/pug run of ZG with the guild Machine. We had many deaths on trash and died twice on our first boss, High Priestess Jeklik. Many of the pug members dropped including myself.

Fast forward to today, I receive some unwarranted hate messages from one of their guild members Yearsofwar along with what I assume to be alts from the same guild.

I can understand where the hate is coming from. Not being able to continue your raid because people drop out always sucks, but can you really blame us? The raid was a disaster and the Machine members were worse geared than the pugs. (reamplayers it if you do not beleive my claim)

I do not expect this to gain much attention. Just didn't want their asshole behavior to go unnoticed.

Ye, look like some 12 year old kids.

Just ignore. And be done with it. Nostalrius team cannot play as police officer in this kind of shit if it is easy solvable.

Wow. That's some powerful stupid. And not even in the heat of the moment, but days later? Yikes.

I pugged with them. When we started it was like, "Make sure you can stay for two hours." Two hours later (close to Midnight EST) the frustrated raid leader basically said, "If you can't stay for another 90 min the get out now!" So I did.

I had no hard feelings; it was a frustrating raid, to be sure, but not everyone is going to be able to faceroll ZG. But attacking a pug in tells two days later? Stay classy, Machine.

Hard to tell what's more pathetic : people that are so assmad they have a checklist of people to send salty letters to, or the people who are so asspained they go on the forums and make a whole thread instead of just using the ignore function and moving on.

Haha. By the time I had looked at the screenshot I was laughing and shaking my head in disbelief and had forgotten that this wasn't a "lol, look at this moron" thread.

I'm glad that the OP was, as you put it, asspained enough to post this. It lightened up my trainride home.

Hello everyone! I am the leader of Machine. I'm not here to defend anyone or point fingers. I'm here to say that YES we had an unsuccessful pug in ZG. It can and will happen when you invite random puggers that have no dedication to progression or patience/understanding. Especially when they leave in less than 20 minutes and we have to spend our time recruiting replacements only to have more puggers leave when the spot is filled....and YES it can get frustrating....so we ask for two hours of your time to raid with us. I think that is very reasonable.

I'm also here to say that everyone is under a false impression created by unhappy trolls/puggers. The chat image posted "as proof" is nothing but rubbish that stems from angry puggers attacking our member and telling him to quit the game because they didn't like the way he played. After he threatened to expose them on the forums for what they were doing....they hurried over here like a 5 year old would do and posted a BS chat image and threw out a fake story to protect their own image. (I'm sure you all REALLY believe that one of our members waited three days...when we were raiding almost every day...to attack some random people that we couldn't care less about?)

We are very friendly and take pride in being one of the few guilds that helps other players achieve without reserving everything for our own members when we do our runs. Yes we are new and unsuccessful groups will happen, but we will continue to devote ourselves to a higher path and not let children/trolls lead us off course or hurt our reputation.

Best of luck to you all and thank you for reading!

Greetings,

this is exactly why we do not get involved in such things. The screenshot shows nothing but two players being insulting and hostile to each other. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the guild mentioned either. Thread locked.

The GM team.
