I'd rather bump for reasonable handling of this when it happens.

Either the GMs should death-touch the instance, or allow a re-clear. As long as players cannot intentionally reset their instance IDs.

Clearly perma-bans was considered to harsh for the GMs in this case, and I agree with that decision. It should however then also be applied uniformly and all should be allowed to re-clear.

I recall a guild asking about this same issue on forums and the GM's allowed them to go back in.. then again, this happens for guilds who take more than 1 day to clear the content. I am sure this issue will arise again with AQ release. hopefully the devs can nip it in the butt when it becomes apparent.
