Hello everyone!

Firstly,I want to introduce myself.I am one of the first Nostalrius' followers and BETA Testers.Following Nostalrius since Summer 2014,when it was actually French-ONLY and had around ~100 likes on facebook,makes me feel proud that I've discovered maybe the best private server ever released.

After Nostalrius becoming International and English-speaking only,it showed that the devs are really into it and have high intentions in creating a good server.

After months of waiting,meanwhile expecting a release date to be announced every moment,we've reached to the first pvp TEST session.

Nostalrius was a little bit behind the other vanilla project until the first TEST sessions.

Things got changed drastically and Nostalrius led the race until the end.

The number of ~1200 unique testers during ALL PvE & PvP sessions was really promising and the pre-tested scripts were really impressive in comparison to other private servers back then.

Nearly ~2 months after all the tests,Nostalrius-Begins has been released.

FEW DAYS before the release day (after Trailer being posted on Youtube) - Insomnia,HUGE HYPE,massive preparations etc etc.

THE DAY BEFORE RELEASE DAY: Everyone expected around 1000-1500 people at release day.

RELEASE DAY : Server unavailable for most of the people.Meanwhile,more than 4500 players were playing at A TIME which was,I believe,totally UNEXPECTABLE for the Devs.

Issue got fixed within 2 hours.

The x3 slower respawn rates,the dynamic and intense wpvp,the fights in Westfall/Barrens were so UNFORGETABLE and I am really happy I've actually participated in some.

The battle to 60 was very,very hard.Tons of no lifers,HATE between both factions actually revealed the real VANILLA experience once again.

I was playing Alliance,and I must mention the guild GRIZZLY that even nowadays,I am still not sure if they were exploiting and stuff or were actually really good and dedicated players playing 24/7 and slaughtering everything around.

Those were really nice and fun 4-5 months of playtime after I decided to Quit due to RL reasons.

Even though im not playing on the PvP server anymore,(I did on the PvE until 1st of January),I am still constantly reviewing the forums and I can say,Im not really HAPPY to what's happening with Nostalrius the last 2-3 months regardless the Population growth.

Not quite sure,maybe the Population is the only reason why this Server has become more unstable and toxic.

I'd be glad to hear an explanation of the full situation by a long-term follower of Nostalrius that is still in-game and progressing.

Nostalrius will always have my respect because they deserve it not just by providing us the best experience,but meeting new friends and spending time together.

Im writing this because I really feel nostalgic about those first moments here and Im really wishing to come back and play once again,of course,if it's still a good place to play until the TBC server comes out.
