Where is the proof that the version we are playing is exactly like the version in 1.5 retail? Did you know that Blizzard fixed and balanced a lot of things in Alterac Valley in Patch 1.6 which was one month later after AV release?

Elite troops still DON'T work! When you gather required amount of boxes (280 from the mine which is on your base OR 70 from the mine which is on enemy's) quartmaster screams: 'Commandos, REGULATE!' and... nothing happens. He supposed to speak with you, then he sents you to Corporal(alliance side)\Sergeant(horde side). You must receive assaul orders from Corporal\Sergeant and give them to elite commander.

I mean, the main problem is Corporal \ Sergeant can only accept body parts for stupid repeatable quest. He can't give you assault orders, you can't switch quest sign at all. And by the way, when quartmaster sreams, elite troops DON'T SPAWN in the mid, but they should. They attack only if a player brings him assault orders.

After doing an excrutiatingly difficult collection process of Irondeep supplies with just one guildie and a third person interested in seeing the infantry assault (none of us being able to heal), we managed to get the 280 supplies, and the exact same thing you describe has happened. Just 1 hour ago, so people dont forget this bug is still unaddressed.

It's one thing to deal with a team that simply doesn't care, and will not cooperate, thta's part of the chaotic mess that is dealing with other people. It's fine to get killed trying to do this, and it's fine to dedicate a fair amount of time to get this done. What is really hitting a nerve, is when lazy developers that advertise one thing in their videos, mislead you and then leave you having a bugged piece of nothingness as payment for your work.
