New to PvP server

Hello, I just downloaded the game and am enjoying the nostalgia rush but I spent the last 40 minutes trying to move 2 feet into duskwood because there's just a level 60 rogue standing there. Both entrances too, and Westfall as well.

Since this is a part of pvp servers how should I actually go about... erm ever walking in a zone that isn't elwynn forest? Are there some specific paths that you have to take like maybe trying to get into the zone from the river instead of the road? Any tips to avoid endlessly accomplishing nothing would be appreciated.

You are honestly fucked on the PvP server, so I'd reroll PvE. Once you get to level 60 on the server, you will find that consumables are overpriced and the server has many toxic players.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket and roll another toon in another starting area.

If you find that there's someone over your level, that's simply got nothing better to do than press 1-2 keys to watch a death animation (that comes with little reward), then you can leave your current chracter in ghost form and hop on something else while the other player simply waits for not much else to happen.
