I'm lost, can't decide between Kronos and Nostalrius

This might not be the right place to get an objective opinion, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyways..

I can't figure wich server to choose; Nostalrius and Kronos. I have followed Kronos since november, and it looks promising. I kinda feel loyal to both the devs and the player base, and thats the main reason I haven't started on Nostalrius yet. I haven't followed Nostalrius, I just found out about the server when Kronos beta launched. I'm SO hyped and stoked to play vanilla again, it pains me to wait.

I refresh both the Kronos and Nostalrius forums ever hour to see if anyone makes a thread that can help me choose. I don't wanna spend hours and hours on Nostalrius if it turns out that the endgame and the leveling process is similiar to ED/warsong. I'm so sceptical after reading the bugs(like the peon quest, why was that bugged at launch?) I also missed the initial launch and nick reserving, wich also buggs me. BUT, if I wait for kronos, what if it flops? What if people don't wanna give Kronos a chance and stick to Nostalrius? What then? Then I have lost a whole month of leveling and fun because I waited for Kronos. Damn people, help me out! Are anyone of you guys gonna check Kronos out once it launches? Or are you 100% sure that you will stick with Nost. I have a few friends waiting to play on Kronos, but I could easly make them join Nost.

Couldnt be a simpler answer for you Play them both and decided afterwards! Its the only way to know for sure. You simply wont get any help from other people's subjective opinions on this matter anyway since its about what YOU like in the end. I will try out Kronos when it launches, but I still play on Nostalrius. I probably wont switch unless Kronos prove superior. (Their public beta indicate otherwise so far though, and that "buy instant 60" thing is terrible)

That doesn't require to be "rich". The rich persons are those admins from other servers with a shop. You can't imagine how much money they make compared to the actual costs. The only real cost of a server is a good dedicated server hosting. You have very professional solutions starting from ~100€ a month.

Do the math. For 100€/month, you would only require 7 contributors assuming they pay what anybody pays for World of Warcraft subscription. That's really not a big deal.

So Nostalrius well never have a black market for players to buy an account? Just like blizzard?

Private Servers are more aware of banning account sellers then Blizzard is, they simply watch the Forums from ownedcore etc. Also it its offical to buy account, more people will do it.
This Server seems pretty aware of Banning, one of my Guildmates got banned because he looted the Gurubashi Chest right at Server Release with lvl 1 (he lotted 5 Stamina Trinket and 5Gold). Reason is "Its against the Spirit of the Server". Then they disabled the Chest Spawn.
I find it a bit hard, but i like the awareness. Anyway he just made a new Account and everything is fine.

We will see, who knows? But if they will support it, no Private Server is funded by Rich People yet, so they dont need Donations. But maybe its just a Rumor.

why? i can tell you i wanted to play kronos, but started here for simple reason, i dont want spend time on beta where chars will be deleted anyway.

Many people is bitching about feenix. i spent few years there and it wasnt so bad. but its always easier to complain than to do anything. so people who are bitching constantly, try to do ur own server.

So as i cant compare nost and kron atm, i wanna say, that nost huge + instance scripting, bosses finally behave as they should and its real nostalgy(while on feenix this was bit crappy)

huge - for me is hunters pet. hes very buggy, path finding aint so buggy as on feenix, but often doesnt attack target standing just infront, without any message, or let npc attack me without any action, or acts very late. and sometimes its good.

so what to say, decide is whatever you want and enjoy the game, do not take game as a work, doesnt matter if u change realm, server, or not. enjoy, enjoy lvling and enjoy vanilla. thats what im doing

Case and point, Chuck is biased. Do your own research. You can't stop anonymous account selling, blizzard never could.

I don't even understand how people can stay on their forum for more than 10 seconds. The layout/colors are awful and it makes my eyes hurt literally.
