are these 2 pets broken on Nostalrius? I do recall them giving buffs/debuffs while they are in action (hence the long cooldown) and were very useful in raid settings back then.

As far as the Gnomish Battle Chicken is concerned, it does scale with your engi lvl as it should (so with 300 engi skill, Chicken will be lvl 60, 63 for 315). Can safely assume this is working for every Engi pet/guardian here.

However, I've tried making it do the Battle Squawks. It never happened for me and couple friends also testing it.
Every comment mentioning this buff was made during TBC so we don't have any proofs that it should perform the Battle Squawks in Vanilla (feel free to add them if you find any, I'll gladly create the bug report if so).

found some EJ posts dated back to 2006 around Naxx timeframe and such. the Haste buff Battle Squawk was in the game during vanilla time (exactly when it was, who knows)

I was goofing around with some of my engineering trinkets yesterday, and happened to notice that my Gnomish Battle Chicken gave my party members and I a buff that increased attack speed our attack speed by 5%...

With a 4 minute duration!

Couple reports/duplicates already on the tracker now for the chicken.

Let's have faith in seeing these (critical ) issues fixed.
