Bugged whirlwind axe quest? (horde)

Not sure if it's bugged or I'm simply missing something. I gathered the materials, 8 liferoots, 30 tusks, and made the essence out of the 24 seals. When I go to talk to the quest giver, he just has a gray ? mark, and acts like I don't have the required materials, despite my quest log showing complete, and that I have all of the items. Anyone else experienced this?

try canceling the quest and taking it again. Has happened to me before.

I know it may sound crazy, but just make sure you have all the required items in your inventory. Then, if you do, that's when you should drop the quest and re-pick it back up. Should be fine
