PVP is really pissing me off.

All the pvpers say well you choose to play pvp server..................what freaking choice do i have? i have non....all these damn private servers are all pvp......what bloody hell bullcrap. I hate getting ganked and killed every 5 minutes by ganks of thugs and poeple that are skulls. I just freaking want to level and dungeon and crap. i don't want to kill people and i don't want to be killed.... it is not fun to me. all you pvp murders can go kill yourselfs.

There is no need to split this Server as there is already a Vanilla PvE server out there (Just google Vanilla PvE Server, its the 1st result), but you'll see how small a minority want PvE when/if you join the server as the population is less than a 100 at peak
New people log into world chat and ask "Is it always this quiet?", they get told yes but how great/mature & helpful the community is but most just say I want somewhere busy and leave proving that population rather than PvE is the biggest attraction.

Most people on here have stated their opinion without a resolution. Here are some ideas:

1) Note the zones that you can quest in for your level. You can look up quests by level range for Vanilla if you are unsure. Switch to another zone

2) Grind. Did you know that there are gnolls above the lake in Elwynn? That's where I grinded when everyone was fighting for tags during week one. This often also works to avoid getting ganked. Find a spot that is not often thought of for grinding. No, this is not as effective as questing normally, but when the gankers are out it is more effective than questing and being ganked every five minutes.

3) Find a group. You can see that others are frustrated. Find more people like yourselves. Yesterday I found two others that were fed up with being killed in an overrun zone. We saw several horde backpedal away when they approached. This eliminates most gankers due to them not wanting to risk dying themselves to a group.

4) Play during different hours. There is a point in time in which far less people play. Can you play then? If so this may work for you.

One of the most important things Blizzard has lost in retail is the need to organise into groups to get things done. World PvP is no exception. Those gankers are just providing difficult content, like the wandering elites. I for one am really pleased to have the challenge.

This is so helpful. I really feel like the community is working together on this issue, and can move forward in any discussion about the server.

That's really the main point. If i had the choice i would never choose a pvp server. Ganking is a very hostile activity. Treating pve content with a FPS mentality? its really just so people can be selfish, mean, rude, whatever else you want to call it. just like this quote above.
