About that lag.

So, is anything gonna be done about that lag that happens every european primetime? Its completely unplayable and its not my internet because multiple people have been complaining about it. It has been happening for the past week or even more and I havent seen anything done to resolve it. I heard you guys are now taking donations to help buy an upgrade to the server. Hows that coming?

They've mentioned needing to upgrade their hardware, and a reason for them opening donations up. Seems like anytime we are over 6k ppl, the majority of us get lag...even when the latency doesnt read high.

i know, it sucks. I always have the same ping, but during EU primetime with 6k+ online i always have at least a .5 second delay. Late at night with ~3k online, no lag at all.

I think there is more to the issue here. I understand the delays at peak like yesterday but today/this morning it was the same with MS spike of 800+. Currently I was DC'd and I am locked out, I cannot even log in.

As Noxm stated, there are means to helping the server out. Their software optimization is great, it's hardware which is currently letting them down.

The server is still very much new and the hype hasn't really fallen yet, unfortunately that means there's likely to be spells of lag across the realm due to load. There's two means of this settling, new hardware updates which the staff are looking at (as the donation link above suggests) or simply waiting for the hype to drop and the server to stabilize.
