GM killed Baron for a group

Alright so, just seen on Rottix stream. (ask anyone and they'll confirm)

Apparently Baron Rivendare is bugged, so the solution Igen (name of the GM) used was to have the group aggro Baron and instakill it for them, giving them free loot.

Doesn't matter what's fair. GMs shouldn't use .die command to kill bosses for players. This server is slowly but surely moving as far away from being blizzlike as possible.

Baron is bugged to heal himself but you can slow his healing down and kill him if you use a -50% healing debuff
He can be killed, you just need to try a little harder because of the bug

It would be better if GMs never killed things for players, that way the bugs would get fixed faster because more people would complain

If you were watching the stream and not just chatting (read here: promoting kronos and hating on nost) you would have seen it and the conversation.

But well, guess the kronos fanbois are rolling in big times, in every single steam chat, in most zone chats and in the forums are those blatantly lying and blind fanboys of kronos.

Makes me wonder how hard they will cry once they realize, that kronos won't be superiour to any other vanilla server.

(Not saying nost was perfect or the instant kill 'okay'. But stop trying to grasp every single fault on nost and promote your not even live server)

Bugs do occur every now and then, even without our consent believe it or not.
A GM killing things for groups that tried to clear the instance for an hour or two might not be the ultimate crime but is still not the way to do things. We'll have a discussion about the situation within our GM team.

It never hurts to report such a thing and therefore Nostalrius thank you.

I'm amazed that you're still on this server.

Due to a server crash (so, our fault) the Ramstein event never started, this means that the boss never showed up, doors never opened, and Baron bugged and became untargetable. I'll keep your opinion in mind should this ever happen to your group, and tell you "tough luck, run it again".
