Next week Grizzly Nope Riding Dirty MCST and probably a few other random guilds will clear MC as more people hit 60. A large majority of the raiding community will always be behind the top few guild, that is fine. 2 guilds cleared this reset, 4 will probably clear next. Stop moving the goalposts, if you want to be part of the progression race, hit 60 and join a guild, you have two months till new content.
Edit:
Competition is good for raiding. It pushes other guilds to form, pushes the competing guilds to work harder, and it creates a healthier realm environment for everyone who is interested in raiding, because now a person may have 5 choices instead of 1-2. Not everyone fits in every guild.

Your right, competition is good. Grizzly and RD are your competition, step up your game if you want to be a part of server first competition. This is what it takes.

Delaying content creates a greater gear gap

If you let top guilds farm for months, Nef/Cthun and a large part of Naxx will be destroyed within hours of release. The not top guilds will fall even further behind as warriors wielding DEoI annihilate those guys still using drake talon cleavers.

Release BWL on schedule. You know what will happen to guilds who haven't killed Ragnaros? They'll kill ragnaros. Because we'll have Dire maul available. Because guilds will be able to kill Razorgore and Vaelastrasz (if they choose to use consumables).

Release AQ/ZG on schedule. You know what will happen to guilds who haven't killed Chromaggus/Nef? They'll kill Chromagus/Nef. Because they'll get gear from ZG/AQ20 and Skeram (if they choose to use consumables).

Release Naxx on schedule. You know what will happen to guilds who haven't killed C'thun? They'll kill Cthun. Because they'll get gear from the first few wings of Naxx.

You are allowed to step into the next tier of content without clearing all previous content. Cutting edge guilds will ALWAYS be cutting edge if you allow them to farm for months prior to content release

I don't mean competition with anyone individually. You're a guild of 40 players in a raid. That's not a competition. To an individual player that's an aspiration, not a competition.

I mean competition between full raiding guilds. That's good for the realm.

It shouldn't take that long for 1-2 more guilds on each faction to the clear the content, so there's no reason to be so up in arms.

My point is, the 1-2 more guilds will clear this week or next, then all these people will still be freaking out over bwl release that is 2 months away and continue to try to push it back, Make it 5 guilds, ect. It doesnt matter, Over the next 8 weeks until bwl, plenty of guilds will clear MC and be ready for bwl when it launches. If they cant, they dont need to be in Bwl when it releases, there is nothing wrong with working through MC while other guilds are in Bwl.

No, there definetly isn't anything wrong with that, I agree, but this still needs to be done carefully if creating a blizz-like environment is the goal. The players themselves are not blizz-like, in this case, so it must be discussed what is appropriate for the content release to properly match that imbalance in the "blizz-like" construct.

I'm not saying your opinion is wrong, but this issue, in my opinion, is definitely worth discussing.

this is the most backwards ass logic i have ever seen in my life. if BWL was released tomorrow and the top guilds couldn't clear it right away (i have no idea if this would be the case or not) this would not, in any way, diminish the gear gap. a top guild wiping in BWL doesn't make their gear worse or anyone else's gear better. BWL being available but uncleared doesn't affect the gear gap in any way.

this whole gear gap argument is stupid as far as i'm concerned. people who play wow like a job are going to have better gear than people who don't. it has always been this way and it's one of the basic features of the game. i'll be one of the undergeared people and this won't bother me at all.

This is just my personal opinion on it.

MC / Ony Clear
>1 month (April 2015): 1.3 Dire Maul
>2 months (May/June 2015): 1.4 & 1.5 Item / Quest updates relevant to those patches
>4 months (July 2015): 1.6 BWL

BWL Clear
>2 months (September / October 2015): 1.7 ZG
>3/4 months (November / December 2015): AQ War Effort
And then AQ 20 and 40 will follow depending on War Effort time

AQ 20 & 40 Clear
>1 month (January / February 2016): 1.10 Item Updates / Improved Dungeon Tier questlines (you could argue this could be introduced much earlier, as by 1.10 the improved dungeon tier content is useless to most of the playerbase already in 10 times better gear from raiding - if it was introduced earlier, I'd say in patch 1.4 / 1.5 along with the other item & quest updates. Or, in 1.6 with BWL's release.)

>4 months (April / May 2016): Naxxramas

Most will probably feel this is too slow, but that's just my 2 cents.

since the players themselves are not "blizzlike" anymore, why not buff the bosses?
