Any class is still needed if you play well, except rogues.

With the recent ban wave happening for the lock box and chest exploits, I am sure some of the rogue numbers have dropped over the past few days.

But as stated in this thread, all classes are needed... Especially paladins on horde and shamans on alliance...

There seems to be lack of tanks for the high level 5-mans, as paladins and druids respec for raid healing, plus bunch of warriors still stick to being purely dps. So no, there's no glut of actual tanks at least on Alliance side. Though I'm a healer, so maybe that's skewing my view, since it's always the tank that my groups are waiting for.
