Non-Blizzlike Rule Is Terrible

As people have said, if you need to leave like go to the store(i mean really?) then /afk out of the BG. In most cases you will not get back in time to participate in the BG and especially if its WSG you are essentially fucking over 9 people because you're too selfish to leave the BG.

And the GMs dont just get a report and flag you, they get a report and go look at you. If you're not moving after a few minutes they will try and contact you. If you are not there or are there but clearly not playing they will then flag you.

This rule is completely non-blizzlike, and puts stress on me and other players when we're playing battlegrounds and need to go AFK for any reason. I've gone AFK in BGs to make some food, use the bathroom, go to the store, take a phone call, but generally I'm a contributing player, and I find this non-blizzlike rule to be a nuisance.

Not only is it non-blizzlike, it is an extreme rule that might result in a permanent ban. I think it's ridiculous!

Find another answer if you really want to deal with this sort of behaviour. I think the community can begin to hate/ostracize people who do this, and Nostalrius shouldn't involve themselves.

please.. just AFK out and come back in the 15 minutes it tkes for deserter to go away..

im the one defending/capping and you just sit there because you had to go to the store... GTFO!!! im playing so you can leech.. no.. not happening.. get banned

What if your against a premade and are gonna lose no matter what? Might as well just go afk tbh

a full bann for afk honor farming is bit much unless you have done it more already i would say.
tho a honor / rank wipe and if you already got gear from pvp then that also removed is nice punishment i would say.
