You know that lack of people in melee range of Ragnaros isn't an insta wipe, right? Grizzly could easily nuke the remaning 2% and if you actually watch the video you'll see people dying to Rag attacks.

Dunno, maybe you're right. It just didn't make sense to me to talk with non rogues about rogue damage. Like comparing a warriors Mortal Strike vs Evisc ain't something really that should be matched since MS for example goes with weapon damage or w/e while Evisc damage is static no matter what weapon or gear the rogue got. Thus I thought he spoke with a rogue. :P

Yeah I was talking about that. I was almost asleep too when I wrote the post, sorry if it can be misinterpreted, english is not my native language.
Idk...
But imagine that crit into a cloth wielder, with half of my armor... insane. He should have a rank 7 eviscerate at 53.

#JustVanillaThings
Rogues are designed to make huge damages in a short time because they are weak on every single other point.
Looks like a Chair-Keyboard protocol issue.

since an eviscerate last rank is doing around 2k in no armor, an 800 crit in around 50% mitigation sounds absolutely ok to me. especially if he reduced you armor before, a good rogue should do that.

The damage of the skill and its scaling are okay to me after a few tests (at least for 5-CP R9 evisc.). The problem in itself is just that it's post-1.9 damage, obtained partly from a post 1.9 mechanic (scaling) and a post 1.9 loot (book), while other people are running in pre-1.4 gear.

Mechanics are supposed to be 1.12, so okay the scaling is technically fine, but the fact that the book drops is debatable.
