If it takes a lvl 18 to recognize that there's a problem with team morale, then that says something about you.

If a lvl 18 is the one who has to take INITIATIVE to say what needs to be said to inspire team morale, that also says something about YOU.

I've been in this situation several times, just as many of you have. How can we ever hope to stand against the Horde if we ourselves are divided?

We must stand united as one!

Your words mean nothing untill you've started the 50+ leveling grind.

This.

But now I want to watch lotr again. Thanks for that.

One might think their words mean everything. The 50+ grind sounds terribad, but unless the Alliance player base can rally and help each other through it, the Alliance faction will die out. (this of course is if you believe their hype).

Now - overall, I think the rage quit Alliance players aren't actually that many, we are seeing a small small subset of frustrated players (a handful really) show up in the forums complaining. Did they really quit? We don't know. Do they sound mad and get our attention? Yes, those dozen or so posts about it sound like the apocolypse... but there are thousands of other players that aren't here saying anything at all.

TLDR: Inspiring words, but Alliance players QQ or get to work.

I play World of Warcraft, friend.

I came here to relive my youth, now with that being said what level of maturity do you think you're entitled to?

Here of all places?

So your youth consisted of telling people they should die because they didn't want to waste what little spare time they had on something that isn't fun?

The game is very much inline with Blizzard Vanilla. Of course, there are small differences I am hearing about, but the overall gameplay and faction interaction is more or less the same. If you don't like the game and aren't having fun, you should probably go play retail. Both are valid options, neither are bad - they are just different games. Vanilla was brutal for leveling and could be very hard sometimes in regards to world PVP. I think this server's overall population is a little higher than real Blizz servers were during Vanilla, which might lead to more saturation of players in areas (i.e. less quiet zones to move to if one was getting hammered by one faction). But, that should mean more on both sides - so help your fellow faction out (I am talking to the Alliance 60's) and things might 'feel' better.

Ultimately I understand this position.

Who am I? Some random level 20 who just came into the picture, like thousands of others who come and go like a grain of sand upon the ocean breeze.

But rest assured, this grain of sand is here to stay.

With each week I have made a quota, when that quota is met my interactions will be purely social. I will spend that time uniting others in league of our cause.

I have seen this scenario play out before, perhaps not on this scale, but if there's one thing I know holds true it is that our most virulent and dangerous enemy is apathy. Far more dangerous than any Undead, Tauren, Orc, or Troll.

Feel free to dote around in self-pity if you want to.

I wasn't particularly well known for my subtlety.

If they do not like the circumstances, they are absolutely free to leave.

All that I am suggesting is that they don't drag others down with them.
