Dire Maul Hunter Trinket

Just did the DM hunter book quest, and the trinket only has fire resist. From my memory and what I've googled, it's supposed to have AP too. Is this a bug/intentional/I'm wrong??

Mage Druid Warrior & Pally trinkets not in the game at all...Rogue trinket apparently has +spellpower instead if +hit (wtf)

on a related note, anyone know if the 8mp5 mage trinket will ever get updated into something better? all the other casters get spell or heal power. if not, tell them not to bother since no mage in their right mind wants that

The AP was added in the 1.4 patch, at least that's what I'm assuming, so Nos have added the 1.3 trinket but not the 1.4 stats. If you can prove the trinket had AP on it before 1.4 you can try PM'ing a dev.

However, in the comments from March 2005, a player has noted that the trinket counts as a "rank 2 Trueshot Aura". Trinkets for DM are missing their stats and it is obvious. This should not need any confirmation. Please refrain from spreading misinformation on the forums.

It's not 'obvious' as itemisation was never Blizzard's strong point. If you think you have a case, I'll repeat, take it to a dev. And if you don't like discussions, you're in the wrong place.

Patch 1.03 was added at the 7th of March
Patch 1.04 was added at the 5th of May.
Between 1.03 and 1.04 there are one/two minor patches 1.03.1 and 1.03.2, no where in between 1.03 and 1.04 does it state that they have changed any items... as a matter of fact, between 1.05 and 1.11 (nor 1.12) there's no mention (unless I completely missed it, I just checked once per patch) of changes done to Royal Seal of Eldre'Thalas. http://web.archive.org/web/200611161628 ... atchnotes/

So the logical assumption would be that the trinkets in 1.03 did in fact have improved stats. Unless waybackmachine is linking incorrectly or the stats changed in TBC or blizzard thought that mentioning the change of stats on trinkets affecting every single class was unnecessary (despite mentioning that green level 37 items have been 'slightly improved').

But at the end of the day, it's the same shitty stats for everyone and if they plan on changing it later it doesn't affect too much anyway.
