Why go through all the trouble of editing sound files?

You should never edit the soundfiles (the mpq files) all you do is add a wav to the sound folder and the game will use that instead of the mpq.

It is Blizzards built in way to legitimately change specific sounds.

Futhermore, even if they wanted to detect people that add that sound file in to save their ears and sanity from all the little 12 year olds of the server they can't. Once again it has nothing to do with "editing game files" god you kids need to read the thread before running your mouth, furthermore I stated you wont get caught and I would personally do it (If I were so easily annoyed that is, I am no little girl luckily) which is completely irrelevant to the situation in any way shape or form, but it seems my personal opinion on the matter means a great deal to many of you so there it is for a second time. I am simply stating what is and what is not against the rules.

You have made that false statement several times yes. You are free to belive that if you wish even though it is rather baffling.

My only regret is that you might trick someone reading this post into thinking that you are correct. But hopefully the player above who found a blue post mentioning that changing the sounds are a-ok should be enough to stop your nonsense or at least make it perfectly obvious that you are not only a very unpleasant person, but also someone speading false information while pretending to be very sure you are correct. Hopefully people will learn not to trust you.
