Rare spawns - odo the blindwatcher?

bat is called Blind Hunter that drops the BiS rogue bow, Nightstalker Bow

Trolls: I am looking for the right guy (blindwatcher) (I never mentioned a 'bat').

I was calling him the wrong name (a confusion based on the name of the item), and looking in EXACTLY the right place for the rare spawn I was talking about. The non-existent rare in sfk is called Deathsworn Captain (I mentioned this already).

No sign of him after another run. Instance rares were not as rare as this in vanilla, and they are not meant to be as (relatively) rare as world mobs - like the increased frequency of greens blues in insatnces the 'rares' were unreliable but more like 1/5 runs. Not none in twenty. If you first couple of tryhards at stop think about it you'll see the logic of this. And it would make sense (and be taken for granted) if you EVER ran these in vanilla.

Note: If they were 1/20 runs then you'd have to run this instance SEVENTY FIVE TIMES of have EVEN odds of seeing that bow ONE time... Think about noddies... Don;t just regurgitate idiot rubbish like "They are rare..."

Deathsworn Captain def in game. Spent a good night farming it w/ 60 friend for the spawn before he finally popped in one and dropped the Phantom Mail for my warr.

Def helps to have a Hunter for tracking to mince, rinse, and remix instances faster for the spawn.

Same deal with Ironspine and got his ribcage. Didn't have the patience for his ring.

I've since moved on to speed runs of SM GY. Run in, clear to courtyard, hit macro's (target rare NPC name) if nothing comes up - out then reset, then back in again.

1 rare so far. Dropped nothing good

Yeah SM gy is good stuff. Keep at it and cross fingers. :p
