Needless to say, they didn't put a scratch on us. Their population peak is around 900 now.

Why is there rivalry between Kronos and Nostalrius?

theoretically they would pull from the same audience (i.e., people who are interested in playing on Blizz-like Vanilla WoW servers).

there was some concern that Kronos' release would affect Nostalrius' population.

Both are advertised as blizz-like vanilla servers, developed over a long period of time, and launched around the same time (About a month or so apart if I remember right). It's a sort of rivalry to see who had the more quality server and who would attract more players.

Kronos started rushing its release and panicking when Nostalrius released. It had a good start, but hasn't really endured.

We found out Kronos was not blizzlike, I played there too.

Kronos released in the wrong moment, with wrong ideology.

It actually have better fix than Nost, but I saw how Nost is recovering about it quickly.
