Given how Retail WoW lost a whopping 30% of it's subscribers in just one financial quarter, that scenario doesn't seem too far off if Blizzard doesn't undo the mess of WoD with whatever their next expansion pack might be.

Yea blizzard can't fail hard enough for that to happen. Also, it isn't an accurate timeline. It's already been stated by server staff as "shortly after naxx cleared" I doubt it'll be 1 month, they'll prolly leave us in naxx for 6-10 months minimum to give the greatest majority the chance to clear it before being pressured onto the bc server.
