1.5 patch notes mentions "meeting stones"

Are we getting meetings stones this patch? 7/18/2015 ?

You couldn't summon from meeting stones until TBC. I remember there was something in pre-TBC where you could talk to an innkeeper or use a stone to try and join a group but nobody ever used it. That's probably what was in 1.5. No idea if they'll implement it here, but doesn't sound like a good use of developer time to me.

Because it was trash, no one fucking used it. It was a LFG that just slammed the first five people it could together, regardless of group comp. It was just a bad que system.

I vaguely remember it on retail, but nobody used it because you'd end up with some ridiculous group composition, and it wasn't any faster.

Because I played the game back then, and from first-hand experience it was useless, and hence never used, as others here have reiterated.
