Is there ever a chance to see more realms?

with changes from the original and experimantation like new things or atleast more realms either more dificult or easier

honestly, another realm isn't a bad idea.


Back in the day, during vanilla, a realm could hold 3000 - 5000 players at one time, and the game it self was balanced around this. This is why things like mining nodes, and herb nodes are harder to find. Too many players. Also a good reason why any road in a neutral zone is paved in corpses. Too many players.

Realm size Expansion didn't happen until TBC, and I believe it was bumped up to 8000 players then.

The only other realm I would have no problem with having is the TBC realm. The population is fine as is, I like not being in a ghost town.

Splitting up the population could kill the server. Not a good idea imo.

To me the whole "splitting the population" argument is BS. I think it would be great if they added a realm, to make it more like 3k-3.5k per realm on an average time, rather than 6-7, which is a little too much.

They wouldn't have to force anyone to move - just open the realm and a lot of players (myself included) would gladly try it out. They could have a character transfer option that would only allow you to go from the maxxed out realm to the new, low pop realm at least until they stabilized a bit.

This is a Vanilla WoW realm. What you are asking for is an "anything but Vanilla WoW realm". Not gonna happen.

Instant 60 realm perhaps? For people who don't want x1 for whatever reason, being time or attention span. Would be nice to theorycraft and mess around on it too. RIP Al'Akir
