What are the Devs standpoint AV-Map favoring.

Since everyone pretty much says the same.... that the AV-map favors alliance, what is the standpoint
of the devs conserning this issue and is there a way to fix it so map doens't favor either side !?.

As a constant Q&A tester myself it is my opinion that if there is something in a game that favors one
side before the other, giving them the edge and nothing is done to fix it, its because the people behind
it aren't really interested in balancing the content.

Currently horde pretty much blames every single loss on "map favors alliance" and "alliance bugs the warmasters".

Are these legit complaints or are Horde just grasping for bad excuses ?.

The only real legit complaints about AV are:

- Horde start closer to the centre and have the potential to capture the GY and bunker just north of Balinda, creating an insane bottleneck.
- Alliance have such an incredible advantage when it comes to both bunkers and bases. Bunkers are much harder to assault than the towers, and there are myriad ways to jump over or sneak through the walls in the Horde fortress.
- Alliance have the bridge of death.

Both factions' Marshals/Warmasters are buggy as fuck, so doing whatever you can to circumvent fighting them is completely fair until they stop respawning.

Overall, AV is heavily Alliance-favoured because it's easier for them to attack and defend with the exception of Horde rushing to the north bottleneck off the bat, which most groups never do.

True, but alliance doesnt even have to go from behind when they can just freely walk in. When horde crosses bridge they agro shit loads of elites. and also gl getting 30 pugs getting the jump done correctly without it taking like 30 minutes.

You have any idea how many times this has been discussed in retail already or i dont know where else it been 10 years!!

They should keep it like how it was in vanilla. It's alliance favored, but that's just how it was.

You know, the horde have pissed and moaned about that damn bridge for 10 years, but they can completely bypass the useless Stonehearth bunker, and jump between the mountain and Icewing bunker (avoiding archer damage) while alliance have to Normandy Beach their way through the valley of death that is in between Iceblood Tower and Tower Point, an area rife with elites, mobs, and not to mention the archers that will blast you constantly.

Not to mention the Horde can make the jump from the north mountain to behind the North Dun Baldar Bunker (avoiding more archer damage) and also make the jump from the southern area of the Stormpike Aid Station into the base, run behind the ram stables and take the graveyard. Alliance have to trudge through Frostwolf Village and go through another pack of elites and archers to get into the East/West towers.

Both sides have advantages and disadvantages.
