Seasonal events in vanilla

by fordragon77 » Thu Oct 08, 2015 10:24 am

Hi,

I'm curious which seasonal events are active and working on this server?

I really like seasonal events so this is an important question for me and I'm sure for many others as well. My favorite event of all time is definitely Hallow's End so I would be very sad if it wasn't in vanilla (I was even thinking subbing back to retail just for hallow's end).

Could someone list them or point me to a link? I couldn't find proper and detailed information about this.

Step one: Google "hallows end"
Step two: Click the first wiki link you see.
Step three: Scroll down to the part of the wiki that discusses patch information.
Step four: Use your eyes and basic literacy to read.

You're almost there!
Step five: Compare the patch number listed to the patch we're currently playing.

This concludes our tutorial on how to use the Internet.

Please write up a guide on how to be a jaded asshole with no girlfriend next! I have a hard time getting into the server-vibe and need someone to show me the path to enlightenment and dickishness

ps OP, most people here will snarl at you no matter what, this is like a black hole of the internet with no holds barred. Most of these virgins come out of the cage looking for a fight. Most likely trying to make the vanilla feel more authentic by reliving their teenage angst.

So Blizzard was able to get it up and running by the first Halloween. It's not blizzlike to not have Hallows End on Nostalrius.

Also we can't not have Christmas or Valentines day, so i hope they delay ZG and start working on these events next.

First off, good job on contributing to the post. Really answered what the OP was asking for. Second off, the internet is not a fucking elementary school. People are mean, people are sarcastic, people are jerks. It's fucking life. The dude showed OP how to tell if Hallow's end should be in Vanilla. Doing even that is nice enough, OP should know how to google "hallow's end release wow".

Now, to answer the OP. http://wowwiki.wikia.com/wiki/Hallow's_End That has all the information you could want.

For seasonal events why go on the patch notes? Of course there will be no christmas event in a july patch. But there was Christmas in the first year of wow.

Why should the children of stormwind suffer with no gifts this year just because Nostalrius didn't start in the right month?

Is this the part where I /golfclap or what? The question has already been answered, so by your own standards, you don't contribute at all (lmao).

Secondly, compassion and empathy is late in blooming, meaning elementary school children will often lack these skills and therefore not be nice at all unless conditioned to conform to such behavior. Being sarcastic, acting like a dick or being a jerk is actually closer to the nature of a child than an adult.

So yeah, I'm not on a crusade to stop people from acting like dicks, but I'm not gonna act like one, and you know why? Because I'm not intimidated by the big bad meanines in the playground, I don't feel a need to go crying to my mommy or whine or bitch about shit. And I certainly don't feel a need to be an asshole to people asking a very simple question.

Now, live your life, worm.
