Hackers - False Positive(Bug) - More Vids to Come

by Yenes » Sat Oct 31, 2015 1:35 am

Running into a lot of hackers in low lvl PvP BGs. Let's see if this guy gets banned with this hard evidence otherwise my friends and I will be moving on, waste of time if hackers can run around unchecked.

Whole team was trying to kill him a few seconds before that, then he ran around for the rest of the BG at 2% HP. I mostly run into speed hackers/teleporting around, after googling seems you guys only ban with video evidence so here it is.

*Edit*

Video of Dromed with invincibility hack*bug*: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H3UdPTnRmv8

I'll have my record hotkey ready now, lots more vids to come...if I still care by then. I remember seeing a few rogues with speed hacks back in real vanilla so I don't hold it against this server, the difference was Blizz monitored their logs and banned them in a timely fashion on their own or so it seemed.

This servers stance on hacking/botting/scamming/major bug abuse is that you get permabanned straight up, and they haven't been shy to use it. So yeah, that is a very likely scenario for this fellow.

YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion.[3] YouTube now operates as one of Google's subsidiaries.[4] The site allows users to upload, view, and share videos, and it makes use of WebM, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media video. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.

Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program.[5] Unregistered users can watch videos, and registered users can upload videos to their channels. Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old.

It would be if this were a hack. It is a bug and has happened a few other times in PvP as well as with the Stratholme boss Baroness Anastari. The player with this invincibility can't attack or interact with objects either, as the game treats them as being dead. Notice in that video when you mouse over the player the loot icon appears.

If it is a bug, then it is a bug.
