Was expecting to see 5g or so for a stack of Copper or Peacebloom like the days of WotLK. I see these things only going for 10-20s for a stack.

Kind of disappointing. Yeah it means I can afford mats if I need them, but it also means I can't really make any meaningful profit by auctioning low level mats. Even stuff like full stacks of thorium or mithril is super cheap.

Was not expecting them to be so discounted. Must be hard to make hundreds of gold a day at 60. I'm glad I went with Herb/Alchemy after seeing what most mats sell for.

That said, I was also expecting the newbie areas to be completely bare of resources, and there's actually plenty to grab in Elwynn, so I'm pleasantly disappointed in that regard. Won't take that long to work up professions.

No but it would have helped paying for early game necessities like skills and bags. I really have to save every last copper right now just to live.

I kinda like it that way though. The early game is so much tougher in Vanilla than it was in WotLK.

I suspect anyone who has more than 1,000g is considered 'rich' here.

The average person probably gets ~30g/hour from farming.

I think it's absolutely fantastic that prices are not inflated here. People just have to learn to deal with their gold efficiently. How is it good for the game if a level 15 dude can sell his copper for a few gold which is completely unproportional to how much he should have at that level?
