Players form the Guild <United States of America>

by Badster » Sun Feb 14, 2016 2:58 pm

Just to let you know, the players Holydisciple and Bloatypirate from the Guild United States of America, just kicked me right before the BRD endboss.
Already reported them for griefing, but be carefull running with those guys.

To let you know the whole story:

We just made a quest run. Probably took 3hours doin a lot of Bosses in BRD.
It started wenn we wiped 3 times in the Lyceum, cause our Tank just pulled to much 3 times in a row. It was Bloatypirate a paladin, who tried to tank this, but clearly had no clue what he was doing.
When we wiped 2nd time he started to blame the Mages, how stupid they are and so on. His mate (the healer) was Holydisciple. After we killed Magmus and i died during the fight, he started to blame me. I did take 800 Dmg from the fire but that was clearly not the reason, we nearly wiped again. Anyway, we killed him but he didnt stop trying to load his inability to tank on me, cause i got aggro very often at the packs in the endboss room.
I have a level 40 weapon, but i still was No.1 DPS (he tanked with an epic 2hander), but obviously they didnt get that since they tried to make fun of my low level weapon, and blaming me to be a bad player. The healer then stopped healing me to get me ripped, but i could manage to survive with the help of the mages.
They also tried to RIP me in serveral ways, but thanks to bandages and some nice placed hamstings, i survived until the Endboss. Probably cause we managed to kill the last 3 Packs without them Tanking or healing made him so mad, that he kicked me out of the group and then pulling the enboss.

Its not a whining post altough I wasted 3hours of my life to some kids from the US. I just wanted to let you know about those guys, so you can probably avoid happening the same to you.

Even though it is the most optimal strategy for the group leader, it's _very_ rare that someone will, unprovoked, go full asshat and kick all loot competition from the group before a boss fight. I can honestly say I've never experienced this in my entire WoW career.

However, it seems like you and the group leader and his posse had some words during the stressful 3 hours in the instance. What I have experienced in my expansive WoW career is people getting kicked for arguing, typing in all caps, shit talking and otherwise provoking the group leader or his friends.

I'm not saying it's right what they did, in fact, I'll probably avoid them in game too. However, given the circumstances, I can't say I'm surprised this happened, and you could have taken steps to avoid this outcome yourself.

Bloatypirate is a giant bagger of douche - and gives the Paladin class a bad name.

It is known.
