Yeah, who gives a rat's ass some guild is getting an advantage over others with GM assistance. It's not like we play on here anyway, right?

In rottix's defense, he admitted he had no idea what happened and was sticking up for his guild out of duty.

Things have been said and done and the truth is now revealed. No need to reopen the scab and divert attention that could otherwise be spent scripting dire maul/blackwing lair for the 19 and soon to be over 20 raid guilds currently clearing all available content.

But then it calls to question that why did this take some idiot posting in Exiled's thread on his GM account for this issue to be addressed? Why were our PMs not enough? Why did the GMs tell us atleast three times that Zetox was not teleported in/they had extensive logging? This issue took place nearly 12 days ago. Are we to now believe these issues will be addressed in a cleaner and faster manner or are we to believe we have to cause a forum shitstorm and risk getting forum banned/demoted for every issue? Even two days ago when GMs/Mods were deleting all of our posts and Witcher was saying they had logs the issue hadn't yet been resolved. They tried to sweep it under the rug until today when they saw we weren't backing down. Even an Admin made a topic and didn't address this, it boggles the mind.

I'd imagine communication between a large GM staff across multiple time zones coupled with the instance taking place almost three weeks ago now contributed a lot to it.

Indeed, even if no punishment occurs because it seemed to be an honest mistake I hope this issue atleast makes them communicate a bit more/better. That's really the big picture issue here and I hope they have plans for it moving forward.

Oh, yes, so a few people (about 4 or 5 max) out of a guild with what, a few hundred(?) members got rekt. I guess they speak for the whole guild

It's really shady how they tried to hide it like they did. I wouldn't be surprised if it was another GM in their guild.

It's not just about the few members that spoke out, it's the passive behavior of the officers/players involved that refused to speak out as to what actually happened which in turn caused the whole thing to spiral out of control and to cause a vetted GM to lose their position less than two weeks after starting.

It's not just about the few members that spoke out, it's the passive behavior of the officers/players involved that refused to speak out as to what actually happened which in turn caused the whole thing to spiral out of control and to cause a vetted GM to lose their position less than two weeks after starting.

This is my favorite one

If staff are concerned with how we got in, feel free to send me or any other officers a tell, though it should have been explained among the various other reports we submitted that night. The speculation likely evolved because we encourage people not to get involved with petty or pointless disputes on the forum, and we knew our vent was being monitored and spoke accordingly, some of the other information I see in this thread doesn't really match what I experienced but I'm not interested in picking it apart.
